John DeStefano Pathway

The Ribbon cutting ceremony took place on May 29th, 2009.  In attendance was Ms. Patricia Fleming, State Representative District 25, ADOT Tucson District Engineer Greg Gentsch, Bobbie Lundstrom, State Transportation Board Member, John Maynard, Rudy Molera Santa Cruz County Supervisors and many more.

 

Color Guard and Presentation of Colors was provided by the Scouts of Cub Scout Pack 508 of Rio Rico.  

 

The name sake for the pathway John Destefano was present and able to partake in the honorary ribbon cutting along with John Maynard, Rudi Molera, Greg Gentsch, Bobbie Lundstrom, Greg Gentsch.

 

After the Ribbon Cutting, John Litteer, P.E., (project engineer) lead an Honorary bike ride, followed by Scouts of Cub Scout Pack 508.  This was followed by an honorary march along the path with the colors carried by Cub Scout Pack 508 and followed by the boys and girls of the Rio Rico Little League.
