        HELP WANTED                   SE NECESITA PERSONAL

The Santa Cruz County Elections Department, under the Direction of the Board of Supervisors, administers, conducts and tallies all Federal, State and County elections held in Santa Cruz County in accordance to Arizona Revised Statutes. The Department also provides contract election services and assistance to the City of Nogales, School Districts, Fire Districts and the Provisional Community College District. The Elections Department is responsible for:

• securing polling locations
• recruiting, hiring and training election board workers
• issuing, accepting and maintaining candidate, initiative, referendum and recall filings and campaign committee financial reports
• providing for the printing of all election related material
• final vote tabulation and official results for canvassing by the Board of Supervisors

Santa Cruz County has approximately 20,000 active registered voters residing in 24 election precincts.

El Departamento de Elecciones de Condado de Santa Cruz, bajo la Dirección de la Junta de Supervisores, administra, dirige y cuenta todas las elecciones Federales, Estatales y del Condado que se celebran en el Condado de Santa Cruz de acuerdo con los Estatutos Revisados de Arizona. El Departamento también ofrece servicios de elecciones y ayuda por contrato a la Ciudad de Nogales, Distritos Escolares, Distritos de Bomberos y al Distrito de Colegio de la Comunidad Provisional. Es la responsabilidad del Departamento de Elecciones de:

• obtener sitios para votar
• contratar, emplear y capacitar personal para las juntas de elecciones
• proveer, aceptar y mantener el archivar de peticiones de candidatos, iniciativas, referéndums y destitución e informes financieros de comités de campañas
• supervisar el imprimir de todo el material relacionado con las elecciones
• presentar el cómputo de los votos final y los resultados oficiales para el escrutinio de la Junta de Supervisores

El Condado de Santa Cruz disfruta de aproximadamente 20,000 votantes activos que residen en 24 distritos electorales.
