Mission Statement: To provide quality active use and dispersed use recreational facilities for the residents of Santa Cruz County and to continually strive to enhance those facilities consistent with demand and resources.

Division Goals & Objectives:

·Maintain existing facilities to be safe and sanitary
·Provide adequate preventive maintenance to protect the County's  investments in the park system
·Enhance existing facilities consistent with good planning and  demand
·Provide new facilities as directed
