2013 Santa Cruz County Teacher of the Year!
The Santa Cruz County Schools Superintendent in collaboration with the Rotary Clubs of Santa Cruz County will be hosting its sixth annual "Teacher of the Year" awards ceremony and banquet on August 09, 2013. All districts and private schools within Santa Cruz County have nominated a teacher who is highly qualified and committed to his/her profession as their Teacher of the Year. A committee selected from the Superintendent of Schools Commission on Education will review the nominations and select one teacher using a scoring system. The teacher with the highest score will have the honor of being named "2013 Santa Cruz County Teacher of the Year." At the banquet and awards ceremony, each of the nominated teachers will be honored guests and will receive dinner, a plaque, and gifts.
We are asking for merchandise or gift certificate donations to be used as teacher awards and door prizes. I hope you consider contributing to this program again this year.
